Ipswich Town have a chance to return to winning ways after Tuesday nights carling cup defeat against Doncaster rovers.
Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle still has a fully fit squad to pick from for tomorrows game at Portman road and is expected to make changes from the under strength side lost to Doncaster in mid-week with Kelvin Davis, Fabian Wilnis and Kevin Horlock all expected to return to the first 11.
Speaking ahead of the game Joe Royle has said: “Our home form has been
excellent so far this year with five wins from five and we need to continue that
return, Plymouth will make it difficult for us though.
“They have
enjoyed two Championships in three years and that has helped to create a
terrific team spirit down there, I'm sure.
“I saw them play at QPR the
other week and they were unlucky to lose out at Loftus Road.
“They
deserve a lot of credit for the way they have adapted to life at the higher
level this season so we know we will be in for a tough game.”.
Plymouth boss Bobby Williamson has access to Northern Ireland international Tony Capaldi after he returned from injury and Peter Gilbert may also come into the reckoning.
Bobby Williamson speaking ahead of the game has said: “Joe Royle is a very
experienced manager and he will have them well organised.
“They will have
players who can make a pass and take one.
“It's how we go about our
business and impose ourselves on the game that I hope will get us through.”.
