Former Ipswich Town defender Thomas Gaardsøe is hoping Town can win promotion to the premier league this season.

The Danish defender who was sold to West Brom for £750,000 after two seasons at Town had made 54 appearances and is now part of the baggies squad that are trying to avoid a swift exit from the premier league.

Thomas has said: “My partner Anna and I both love Ipswich and the area and come back to the town as much as we can, we have lots of friends down here and I have a lot of time for the Club as well.

“There are good players, good coaches and a good manager at Ipswich and I hope the Club win promotion to the Premiership this season.”.
