Ipswich town goalkeeper Kelvin Davis is making good progress from the back injury that has forced him to miss the last game and a half for town.

Ipswich town goalkeeper Kelvin Davis is making good progress from the back injury that has forced him to miss the last game and a half for town.

Davis had to be substituted at half time during Towns 1-1 draw with Reading and missed Sundays 2-1 win over Coventry City has been receiving treatment this past week.

Davis has said: “My back is improving day by day but I am not rushing it.

“I have been doing some training work but have not been putting too much strain on my back.

“It's a case of working with the physio staff and taking it one day at a time.”.

Kelvin hopes to be fit for the visit of Burnley on the 16th of October , adding: “It's too early to tell but I'm optimistic. We'll just see how it goes.”.
