Ipswich Town striker Shefki Kuqi believes he did nothing wrong in the build up to Town’s equalizer against Burnley on Saturday.

Kuqi played on despite Burnley’s Mo Camara being down on the pitch “injured” but did somehow manage to stand up as soon as Matt Richards had sent the ball flying into the back of net.

Kuqi:“If I really thought he was genuinely injured I would have kicked the ball out at that point even though we were in a good position to score.

“But I knew he had not been hurt in my original challenge, even though we may have collided a little.

“They were time-wasting at every opportunity and that was no different.

“I had won the header cleanly and I couldn't believe it didn't go in.

“Then he stayed down but when we carried on and the ball was in the box he got up which would indicate there was nothing wrong with him.”.
