Ipswich Town defender Jason De Vos has called his transfer from Wigan athletic to Town in the Summer “the best decision of my career”.

Ipswich Town defender Jason De Vos has called his transfer from Wigan athletic to Town in the Summer “the best decision of my career”.

The 30 year old De Vos turned down an extended contract at the JJB stadium and instead joined Town as a free agent and believes the move could not of been better for him.

De Vos: “It's been the best decision of my career to come here.

“Ipswich is a fabulous club and I'm really enjoying my football.

“Things are going well for us on the pitch and obviously I'm delighted that we are top of the league at the moment but there is still a long way to go yet.

“Wigan will be there or thereabouts I'm sure, they have got some very good players but then so have we and I expect both clubs to be right up there come the end of the season .”
