Ipswich Town goal ‘keeper Kelvin Davis insists that the Town squad after not down after going out of the FA Cup on Saturday.

Town were hit three times in the space of 9 minutes on Saturday by Premiership side Bolton Wanderers and failed to recover and so went out of the cup at the first hurdle but Town ‘keeper Davis says the team are still very positive.

Davis: “It would have been nice to have won the game but I think it's fair to say we were down but not in despair in the dressing-room, the League is obviously the priority for us and the most important thing was that we didn't pick up any injuries.

“We are already looking ahead to the Coventry game and they had a good result on Saturday, beating Crewe so we know it won't be an easy game.

“The mood in the dressing-room is very positive though and I think most of the lads will tell you that we haven't reached our peak yet. Funnily enough I think we played better on occasions last season than we have done this year without getting the same results.”
