Duo On Eire Standby

Ipswich Town duo Gerard Nash and Billy Clarke have been placed on standby for the Ireland under19 side.

The pair have been placed on standby for Irelands U19 European Championship qualifiers against Poland, Albania and Serbia and Montenegro next week.

Nash has captained his country at youth levels has missed most of this season recovering from a cruciate ligament operation, Clarke is unlikely to take part as he is currently side lined with medial ligament damage.
