Bent: Don’t Blame Currie

Ipswich Town striker Darren Bent has come and defended Town midfielder Darren Currie following his miss against Leeds on Saturday.
The 30-year-old midfielder missed a golden opportunity to give Town all three points against Leeds on Saturday, some how sending the ball wide from 8 yards with most of the goal to aim at.
Bent: “No-one in the camp is blaming Darren.
“He'd probably bury a chance like that ten times out of ten, but we're all guilty of bad misses sometimes.
“Darren's really upset and angry with himself, but he's got to put it behind him because it's in the past now.
“We're still totally confident that if he gets a chance like that in the next game the ball will end up in the back of the net.”
