Kuqi Gets Award

Ipswich Town striker Shefki Kuqi has been voted as the fans player of the year for this season.

The 28-year-old striker got 45% of the votes which were collected ahead of Towns game with Sunderland, Kelvin Davis came second and Richard Naylor 3rd in the voting.

Kuqi has scored 17 goals for Town this season has said: “Things have gone well for me and it's been my most enjoyable season - and my most successful one, the goals have gone in and the team has been doing very well. Hopefully we can finish the job now and win promotion to the Premiership.”
