Westy After Revenge

Ipswich Town midfielder Ian Westlake is hoping to extract a measure of revenge against west ham for the play-off defeat last year.

Town play the hammers in the play-offs for the second successive season and Westy will be hoping Town can repay West Ham for knocking them out a year ago.

 

Westlake: “We owe them after last season and now we have a chance to make amends.

 

“We finished third in the table and now we must prove we are the best of the four teams in the play-offs.

 

"We can all remember how bad we felt at losing in the play-off semi-final last season, and there's no way we want to experience that again.

 

“I woke up on Sunday morning thinking we only needed one win and we could be in the Premiership, now I've been waking up knowing we need just three more wins to achieve our goal.

 

“We're so close and it's very exciting.”
