Bent To Man City?

Former Ipswich Town striker Marcus Bent is reportedly a target of a £1million swoop from Manchester City.
Bent who left Town last summer to join Everton in a £450,000 move to Everton scored just 7 goals in competitions last season and may fall down the pecking order at Goodison Park as Toffee’s boss David Moyes adds to his attacking options for Everton European campaign, while Manchester City boss Stuart Pearce only has one recognised striker for next season after selling Jonathan Macken to Crystal Palace so obviously strikers are on his shopping list as he tries to build on Man City’s 8th place finish.
If Bent does leave Everton, Town will be due a slice of the transfer fee as a sell on clause that took Bent to Everton last summer although it is unclear just what percentage of the fee it would be.
