Lazio Friendly

Ipswich Town will play the first of two friendlies against Italian side Lazio in the build to the 2006/2007 season.

The match will be at Portman Road on the 28^th of July 2006 with a kick-off time to confirmed at a later date.

 

The game is the first of two agreed in the deal which took goalkeeper Matteo Sereni from Portman Road to Serie A back in 2003, Lazio had been difficult  to pin down to a date but Town had threatened to get FIFA, UEFA and the FA involved in order to get the friendly.
