Royle’s Reaction: Leicester

Reaction from Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle following Town’s 0-0 with Leicester City earlier today.
Royle: “It was a good point for us and I was delighted with the way we defended throughout the 90 minutes, Lewis did well for us early on and it was a brave save from him when he picked up the injury.
“Then Shane came on and showed what he can do. We know he is a super 'keeper and he made a fantastic save but the players defended well in front of him and he didn't have too much to do.
“Apart from a mad 15 minutes or so against QPR, we have defended well so far this season and if we carry on like that I'll be delighted. We need more about us going forward but if we keep defending well it will mean we might not have to score so many goals to win games as we have done in the past.
“We did have the best chance of the game though when Nicky Forster went through and perhaps he was too honest in going around the 'keeper. Some may have just gone into the 'keeper and looked for a penalty but we're not complaining, it was a decent point.”
