Gavin On Town Debut

On-loan West Ham midfielder Gavin Williams has been speaking about the mixed emoticons he had after his Town debut.

The Welsh international midfielder marked his debut in a Town shirt with Town’s goal against Coventry earlier today.

 

Williams: “It was obviously great to score a goal on my debut and I enjoyed the game but ultimately there is disappointment because we should have won the match, Coventry came into the game after they scored and had a couple of chances but other then that we dominated the match and should have had all three points.

 

“My fitness was a little short because of that but I felt at home with the style Ipswich play. That is one of the main reasons I came here, because of the way Ipswich pass the ball around.

 

“From what I have seen Ipswich have the quality to be pushing for the Play-Off places but a lot of the clubs at the top have bigger squads.
