Forster Injury

Ipswich Town striker Nicky Forster is a doubt for Town’s game against Luton on Saturday after injuring his knee against Hull.

The Town striker lasted just 25 minutes of Town’s game against Hull with Danny Haynes coming on to replace him.

Forster: “I went up for a ball in the first 10 minutes or so and felt my knee go then, I tried to play on but it was no good and there was no option but to come off.

“I've jarred the knee and there is swelling around the joint as well so we'll have to see how it reacts over the next couple of days.”

As it stands Town have just one experienced striker fit for the game against Luton, Richard Naylor who finished the game against Hull up front and Joe has not ruled out Bam Bam starting up front against the Hatters.

Joe: “Bam Bam did well in attack and may have to play there at the weekend because we are short on options.”
