Bent To Sampdoria?

Reports in Italy are suggesting that Sampdoria are monitoring the progress off former Ipswich Town striker Darren Bent.

The 21-year-old left Town in the summer and moved to Charlton in a move that could be worth £3million to Town and that’s before the sell-on fee that could come if he moves on.

 

Although Sampdoria are looking for a replacement Emiliano Bonazzoli who is out for the rest of the season it seems unlikely that Bent will move during the current transfer window but if he continues to find the net as he has done so far this season (14 goals in league and cups) he may well move on in the summer.

 

Marcus Bent was also linked with Sampdoria but those rumours have been deined by the Serie A side.
