Joe Eyeing Play-offs

Ipswich Town manger Joe Royle believes Town can still make a late charge for the play-offs.

Town are currently ten points off the play-offs, having played a game more than 6^th placed Preston and two more than 5^th placed Crystal Palace.

 

Joe: “We are in the middle of a block of four games and we went into it knowing that our results would probably determine whether or not we would have a realistic chance of making the play-offs.

 

“As things stand we have fallen a bit behind but we drew with Sheffield United, won at Southampton and now we have Leeds at home and Norwich away in the space of the next six days.

 

“There is no doubt that we are gaining in belief all the time and I would think people who have seen our recent performances would have noticed that.”
