Jim: Nervous But Excited

Town manager Jim Magilton says he was nervous and excited at the prospect of meeting up with the Town squad for the first time as manager.
Jim: “I was a mixture of excitement and nerves driving in to the training ground.
“I was a touch apprehensive because you are never sure how these things are going to go on your first day but once I was in, I felt totally at home.
“I felt relaxed with the lads and they listened to what the chairman and I had to say and then the hard work started and it will be hard work. The players will probably be working harder now than they have ever done in their careers.”
