Cambridge United have today confirmed what UnitedWeStand.tk told you last week in the 'Just In' section of the site. Scott Eustace is to have a second chance at the Abbey with a trial during pre-season.

Cambridge United have today confirmed what UnitedWeStand.tk told you last week in the just in section. Scott Eustace is to have a second chance at the Abbey with a trial during pre-season.

Eustace is one of three ex-U's that have been named amognst the trialists when training resumes on Tuesday. UnitedWeStand reported last Wednesday that Scott Eustace was set to be given a trial. As reported over the weekend Omer Riza is also training with the club this week after being released by West Ham.

The third of the players is Martin McNeil, Martin was sacked by Torquay after allegedly due to pre-match drinking on New Year's Eve, he has since been playing for Kings Lynn. Manager John Taylor told Cambridge Evening News that this is set to be Martin's last chance to make it as a pro and as soon as he puts one foot out of line he will be out the door.
