Cissé keen to stay

Question marks had been raised by some as to the Frenchman's commitment to the club following Roy Keane's resignation in December.
As part of the loan deal Sunderland have the option to bring Cissé in on a full-time basis at the end of the season should they meet a valuation previously agreed with his parent club Marseille - A further £8million would be needed on top of the £2million already paid.
The Ligue 1 giants are keen to take the enigmatic forward back to his homeland to help ease their striker crisis, but the the colourful striker insists his future lies on Wearside.
"I can understand why they would try to take me back, but no, to be honest, I want to stay here," Cisse said in the Daily Star.
"For the moment, I'm good here. I have scored nine goals and my target was 15, which is still possible.
"If I'm offered a contract at the end of the season, why change?"
Cissé has defended fellow Frenchman Pascal Chimbonda after he an Nyron Nosworthy had a bust up following the one all ddraw with Middlesbrough in the Tees-Wear derby.
"He (Chimbonda) is a good player and we are happy that he is staying," he added.
"He is a good character, a funny guy and there are no problems with him.
"What happened with Nyron was just a sign of frustration because we were disappointed we did not win the game.
"They are friends - we are all friends in the team."
