Sbragia: I will play a strong team

Sunderland boss Ricky Sbragia has promised to field a strong team in Saturday's FA Cup tie with Blackburn. The Black Cats play Rovers in the fourth round at the Stadium of Light and it will be the fourth time the clubs have met this season.

"We'll field the strongest team we can, there's a lot at stake and I want to go through to the fifth round," said Sbragia.

"The game is a break from the league but a good result would set us up nicely for the visit of Fulham the following Tuesday.

"I'll send a team out that I think is good enough to get us through - we certainly know plenty about Blackburn."

Steed Malbranque will be available after serving a one-game ban.

Good call by Sbragia.

A win in this match will fill us with confidence to take into the Fulham match on Tuesday.

But, here's hoping we don't get any injuries!
