news: Mvoto joins Southend

Sunderland's French Under 19 defender Jean Yves Mvoto has joined Steve Tilson's (pictured) Southend United on loan.

Mvoto is a 6ft4, 93kg central defender and is a monster of a player to be up against.

He joins Southend on a 6 month loan deal which will hopefully see him gain some valuable playing experience outside of the reserve squad.
