press talk: Calderon linked with Black Cats

There are rumours in the football world that Sunderland are interested in Mexican starlet Nestor Calderon. Calderon has welcomed the interest from the Black Cats and a move to the Sunderland Stadium of Light.
The 20-year-old plays for Paulo da Silva's former club Toluca and has already made his debut for the Mexican national side, I wonder if Paulo has had good things to say about the youngster?

said, "To tell the truth this news about me being transferred to
Sunderland has taken me by surprise because I really don't know
anything about it
"Of course it's a dream for me to play in England, it would be very
important for my career. But for the moment it's only a rumour, so
until somebody comes to me and tells me it's true I will take it as a
rumour. I will be waiting for official news.
"I don't know how to take this information but if there is a proposal I will see if I go or what to do.
"Personally, to have the chance to play in Europe is a dream and it's
makes me emotional to think that my name is known in England, but I
will have to wait."
He added: "It would be very nice to have the chance to play again with Paulo Da Silva so I hope that I have official news soon."
