Accrington S v Tranmere Rovers Match Discussion
By Deadly Submarine

For those who are unable to go to the game against Accrington Stanley later today, here is your platform for discussing the events of the afternoon whether it be the Rovers match itself or any other happenings in of note in the first round of the FA Cup.
At Total Tranmere, we always like to take note of feedback from the users of the site and respond to it in the best way we can. One thing we have picked up on more recently is that after Tranmere games there seem to be a lot of different threads that get started about the same game.
As a result of this feedback, from now on we will be providing Match Discussion Threads for every occasion when Tranmere play.Tranmere are of course playing away at Accrington Stanley later today but if you're not going to the game, why not join in the banter right here while the game is going on?
Maybe if you have a friend or family member texting you from the game you can post their views here for others to see as the game progresses. Or why not post the line-ups or anything else you can think of.
Why not also use this facility to discuss other games and scores that kick-off at 3.00pm which may or may not have an effect on Tranmere too.
What you discuss below is up to you but hopefully it can all be focused on one thread to make it easier for everyone to use.

Coyne had nothing to do, the defence was solid as a unit but all were prone to mistakes.
The midfield was shocking with Moore and Shuker barely in the game and Edds and Barnett not performing either.
Savage didn't look great upfront on his own without too much service and my Man of the Match (based on him not being as bad as the others) was Jennings.
I like to try and pick out positives in a game after a defeat but apart from keeping another clean sheet I can't think of a positive.

We had a rumour that it was to be inspected before the game but although it was very wet in the goal areas, I can't see that being true to be honest.
Yes the pitch was awful, but their professional footballers, they should be able to play on any surface, i've played on worst than that.
To be fair though people are saying we played bad but i can't remember to many times when they have tested Coyne, suppose a draw is a fair result very scrappy game.
Did anybody else today think the Ball looked a bit flat to ? Everytime A player was clearing it was spinning towards the side, the ball looked flat?
But we were in the draw this mornign i suppose, bu i think we'll beat them at Prenton Park quite comfortably to hopefully.
Fingers crossed though.
