Rovers draw Huddersfield in Johnstone Paints

Details of the Johnstone Paints Trophy area semi-final draw

Tranmere Rovers have today drawn Huddersfield Town at home in the area semi-final of the Johnstone Paints Trophy.
Rovers beat Bury on Tuesday to make it to the area-semi final of the draw, with Ian Thomas-Moore scoring the winning goal in a 1-0 success for Rovers, whilst their opponents knocked out Rotherham at the Don Valley Stadium, winning the game 5-2.
The other game drawn in the Northern Section sees Carlisle United host Sheffield Wednesday.
In the southern section of the draw, Brentford will host Charlton Athletic and Bristol Rovers will take on Exeter City.
The game will take place on either November 30th or December 1st.

Decent draw this. All the sides we could have played would have been tough so to get a home draw is very important.
Interesting to notice that all eight sides left in the trophy are from League One. I bet it's a long time since this happened

Carlisle was my wish but cest la vie. We done an excellent job of neutralising them at their ground earlier in season, we are finding the net ourselves much mire regularly now too! Fingers crossed itl be tough but nit impossible

dont be mistaken it will be a very tough game they are a good side but happy that were at home.

True, though after scoring 5 away they lose at home.
If the desire is there and the lads are up for it anything can happen seeing as we can score.
