After Tranmere's 1-0 ahome defeat to Hartlepool United in NPower League One on Tuesday evening, Total Tranmere is giving you the chance to vote for your Man of the Match.

In a poor game of hoofball especially from Rovers, the visitors snatched the three points thanks to an error from on loan goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi with thirteen minutes remaining.

Goodi for me also.
But who voted for the goalie. He made a mistake that cost us three valuable points!
Maybe a sympathy vote or just perverse voting.

Gulasci did make the mistake, but surely it's a case of his overall game. How many saves did he make? How many times did he kick, roll or throw the ball to players in open space, versus players being marked or with little space to run.

I'm not going to vote for him or anyone, just becasue I can't think of anyone who stood out, but I do feel Gulasci may be being viewed a bit harshly by some, as for me personally, his intent was good, but it was a slight error wasn't it. He just struck the ball with the wrong part of his glove and sometimes the difference betwwen a good punch, kick, header etc and one that isn't so good, can literally be 1-2 inches, so perhaps he deserves not to be judged too unfavourably, in light of other things he may have done.

I know the team will bounce back and whether Les wants to play down the injuries / suspensions, I think they must have contributed to some extent, especially without someone like Welsh, grafting in the middle of the pitch.
