Myrie-Williams Wins Your Portsmouth Man of the Match

On loan winger Jennison Myrie-Williams wins the Total Tranmere Man of the Match Award for the Portsmouth away game.......

 

 

 

 

 

After a period of voting shortened by the fact that Tranmere's last match was a midweek game, it can now be confirmed that you, the fans, voted on loan Scunthorpe United midfielder Jennison Myrie-Williams as your Tranmere Rovers Man of the Match for the midweek away trip to Portsmouth last Tuesday.

Myrie-Williams scored Rovers' opening goal with a terrific low finish after great work by Rory Donnelly and gave the Portsmouth defence a really hard time, particularly in the first half.

As you can see from the poll below, Myrie-Williams polled 33% of the vote in what was a much lower voting count than usual although this only to be expected when Rovers support is much smaller in number.

Stay tuned on Saturday night for your chance to vote for your Tranmere Man of the Match for the away trip to Cheltenham Town on Saturday afternoon with results for that to be announced prior to the Wycombe home game next Tuesday.

Nice to see that Ridehalgh got two votes as I thought he did pretty well in the second half after replacing Taylor - considering how the game went in the end.
