Wolves visit Crystal Palace today loooking for their second away win of the season

Nuno Espirito Santo will be hoping for another win for Wolves today in the last match before the International Break. If - as expected by many in the game, and as there are no unexpected injuries - he fields an unchanged team for this match it will set a new record for the Premier League. However Ivan Cavaleiro and Adama Traore's impact from the bench last week may well influence his team choice. Ex-Wolves Premiership goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey is likely to keep goal for Palace, but undoubtedly it will be Wilfred Zaha who the Palace fans hope will be their biggest threat to Wolves.

Line-up: Patricio, Bennett, Coady, Boly, Doherty, Neves, Moutinho, Jonny, Costa, Jimenez, Jota

Subs: Ruddy, Hause, Saiss, Gibbs-White, Cavaleiro, Bonatini, Traore

Record of 8 matches unchanged in the premier league era (as we all know football was only invented in 1992!! Lol). Quite a thing these days however.

We’re due a bad performance aren’t we??!!??

Hopefully not, we’me A good side after all.

UTW!

I've managed to stream the game, but have two commentaries on it!!
Important defending by Coady then Bennett, as Zaha is heavily involved. Free kick in dangerous are, but Wolves break with Jota to Raul, but his shot is well wide

Good break by Costa earns a corner

Raul appears offside but brings out good save from Hennessey, as it seems goal would have stood

Ayes earns a free kick from Jonny. Rui palms it away then Schlupp puts it over the bar

Raul set up Jota, and he slashed it wide with his left foot. He really really should at least have tested the goalie

Jota fouls Townsend just outside our box. Good free kick well taken by Rui

So far the game has all the makings of being last on tonight's MOTD!! Fairly even possession for both teams but Wolves should have taken the lead, with through Raul or Jota. Raul brought s good save out of Hennessey, but Jota's shot was awful. Palace have had some good possession around our box and a few corners, but no cutting edge up front despite the forts of Zaha and Ayew.

HT

Reports suggesting a poor match, though my friend who’s there thinks we’re okay going in level.

Cav and Traore on at some point to turn things to our favour maybe?

Second half underway. Neves puts it over the bar. Wolves fans have been giving Hennessey pelters all Match.

Some untidy play from both teams, and a bit of frantic play in Wolves area.

Doc scores Palace 0 Wolves 1

Give and go with Raul, then Doc smashed it between Hennessey and his right post

Coady is at the centre of everything in defence whilst Raul is involved in everything up front. Great defensive play by Joao who is in control in midfield again with Ruben Neves

Saha is struggling up front alone with little support. Meyer comes on for Palace to replace McArthur. Traore warming up also

Costa turns Tomkins inside out and puts a great ball across their area which together with the conditions just beats Jota

Listening to BBC Radio London. Good to listen to biased commentary especially when they are peed off with the performance. Plenty of time for Palace to get into it however.

Rui makes a terrific dual save! Tense listening lol ! C’mon Wolves!

Meanwhile pressure building from Palace - another corner - muffed!!

Wolves really are well organised in defence and can a,ways rely on Rui being in the right position. Roman Saiss replaces Helder Costa

Shame, I tossed up between Jota and Matt for the first goal .... guess who I backed?

Commentary bitterly complaining about the Palace quality. Free kick. Danger 4 mins of added time

Wolves still looking for a second goal but Cav sends in a poor ball. Moutinho booked for a poor challenge on Zaha.

That's it Wolves win for the second time in London this season and are on 15 points

Not a particularly entertaining game but we played well particularly in defence. Nuno is celebrating with our fans again. Zaha was pretty well contained by our midfield. Doc took his goal well after good play by Raul - he was involved in everything all over the pitch.
Palace are in the mire - they next play Everton away then have Arsenal Chelsea Spurs and United to play!!
Pity we have the international break now but we can look forward to our next game at home to Watford.

It´s wins like this that will find ourselves in our proper league position come end of May..so to speak.
This is how most people outside Britain that has watched the game a fair while would want it,rain pouring down,a hardfought game and winner at six CET.

I don´t think we deserved the three points to be frank.Just IMHO and I am actually even more happy when wins like this occurs.Enjoying watching Dohertys steady progression.Who would have thought back in 10 signed from Bohemians for 75K?

Now..eight years later he is an established Prem player and should be starting for Ireland as well.It is almost like he is one of our own fans...playing so tremendesly on the pitch.
Couldn´t happen to a better man as well..you just gotta embrace in(in a non gay way).

Our dreams is starting to come through,I really believe that and I am a battlescared fans of Wolves since 1977.Good God,if we get the transfer window 2019 right...then..

I am rambling a bit,and I wish to be excused...this is bizarre for a Wolves fan for more than forty years. For sure,my mission was to be miserable for most of the time and for sure I would never have the priveligie to watch MY club at seventh position in division One..and looking onwards to even greater things?

I´m still struggling a bit to take it all in....two and a half years ago we were miserable.THAT feeling I know.

I honestly think we can finish top six this season.OR a Cup run for the modern ages.

I honestly didn´t think I would see this in my lifetime.

I am just feeling grateful right now.Who would have thougt hey?
