After hinting at the possibility of new faces, Terry Skiverton has unveiled Ivan Sproule as his latest loan signing.
The winger has joined the Glovers on a months loan from Bristol City, after finding himself on the bench at Ashton Gate over the last few months.
The possibility of regular football would have been a major factor in the loan deal, with Sproule now becoming the second loanee from Ashton Gate joining Gavin Williams, in a deal which will see Sproule stay at Huish Park until December 19th.
Sproule played against the Glovers in pre-season putting in a lively performance down the right wing, something the Yeovil faithful hope he repeats in the Green and White of Yeovil.
His record certainly speaks for itself, enjoying the last six years at both Bristol City and previous to that Hibernian, north of the border.
On top of his club exploits, Ivan has played eleven times for Northern Ireland, including their infamous victory over England.
Bristol City spent the sum of £500,000 on Sproule who has gone on to play over 100 times for the Robins, notably playing in their play-off final loss to Hull City in 2008.
The best of luck to Ivan during his stay in Somerset!
