Its time these international breaks were scrapped given how tedious it is watching England play countries that barely have a heart beat. The Czech republic were decent but how many times have we seen Bulgaria/san marino/ Lithuania type of matches disrupting the club fixture list. The major tournaments should be like the FA cup - a straight knockout competition with the seeded countries maybe coming in during the second round for eg.

Regarding the racism in Sofia, it's of no real shock. I went to Sofia earlier this year and even though I'm white found it to be full of the most obnoxious people I've ever encountered. No one can tar an entire city/country with the same brush but the aggression levels in cafes/restaurants/hotels/on the street are on another level to anything I've encountered- no idea why. Incidentally, Southgate and co whilst doing nothing wrong are hardly heroes .. if they really wanted to make a stand they would have walked off the pitch which I suspect had they been losing instead of battering a side would have been the case.

Valery gets a yellow for second stupid foul. Wolves
Mount a good attack from free kick.
Weak shot from Ings easily collected by Rui, but Redmond showing the threat his pace presents. Looks like Vallejo coming in to replace injured Bennett

Half time whistle after 5 extra minutes. Raul has ‘scored’ twice - first ruled out correctly as he handled ball, second ruled out by VAR. for ? offside by Cutrone. Wolves have had the better attempts but S’hampton have also posed a threat at times. I hope Jota will get a run out in second half. Traore hasn’t had a lot of involvement yet!

Dreadful effort from Cutrone!!
Sorry Wolverina - Coady misjudges the ball and Ings gets it and slots an easy goal. Vallejo was involved too with another poor pass.
Wolves 0 S’hampton 1
