Diogo Jot coming on for DP who has just been hurt by Kouyate. Free kick just outside their area. Good attempt by Adama from Neves territory!

Neto coming on now for Traore who just got a yellow. He’s played very well this second half. 10 minutes fro a nice little Neto cameo?

Good attempt by Neves to pick out Neto in the 6 yd box. 2 minutes plus added time to play. Time to pick our Man of the Match and my choice is Joao, he has been at the heart of everything this evening and he and Neves have bossed the midfield so well

Pot shot by Zaha well collected by Rui.
Jota pulled down as he breaks to chase a Neves pass, but the ref opts to blow the final whistle.
I have thought all season that Palace are one of the worst teams in the League, are a dirty team and rely on Zaha and Ayew playing the referees too much, and my opinion isn’t changed tonight. They were as awful as we were good, only we were even better!!
A good win which puts us back in 6th and sets things up nicely for our final game of the season at Stamford Bridge on Sunday
Wolves 2 Palace 0

That’s it. League football is finished at Molineux for 2019/20 and thankfully on a high! I demand a lap of honour.

A very decent second half performance, completely in control, and comfortable to watch .... for once. Not just comfortable however, enjoyable too. Two really well worked goals.

Whilst we’ve lost the initiative from a GD perspective we now have a difficult last match versus Chelsea at Stamford Bridge where I believe only a Wolves win will guarantee us 6th spot, but there again I don’t understand the permutations for the Europa. One things for sure, I cannot see Spurs losing to Palace on tonight’s reckoning.

The reality is, that we now have 59 points which is already 2 better than last year, thus yet again a season of advancement, so excellent stuff for us Wolves fans.

Great stuff, back at Molineux on 6th August now, for the Olympiakos second leg.

UTW!
