Can't wait to see how these new additions perform.

I wouldn"t bet on us beating any team away, never mind a fired up Newcastle with a new manager!

Exactly this. If that shower starts against Newcastle then I'm done. It's all about ECFC anyway.

If the 2018/19 team cannot beat a Newcastle in disarray, senior players sold and without Benitez, SACK EMERY!

Newcastle have just signed Joelinton.

I've only seen him play once against City and he was destroying Kyle Walker for pace and strengh, god knows how our defence will handle him.

It looks more and more likely now. Even chances of new LB are slimming with Tierney talks break down.

We will probably see ceballos on the bench, the only new face. We havent been able to offload elneny and Jenkinson yetsad smiley

I would sell Elneny but keep Jenkinson. Jenkinson has pace and can make good crosses. Plus we will need him for the home grown quota.

Are Torreira and guendouzi not match fit? Don't see Willock starting any games before the europa League /League Cup games. Emery loves guendouzi.

Also pepe will come on in the second half and laca might shake off the ankle injury and put Nelson on the bench
