Is back at his old stomping ground of Stevenage for his 4th stint as manager there..The last job he had was at Newport in 2017...Ex England womens boss Mark Sampson will stay with Stevenage in a coaching role...
Mansfield have sacked their rookie manager John Dempster...Mansfields season not going so well, many had them down as promotion material this season...They were too hasty getting rid of Dave Flitcroft immediately after their play off semi loss to Newport back in May..Impatient board at Mansfield me thinks..

The Bristol Rovers manager, Graham Coughlan has left and has stepped down a division to become the new boss at Mansfield...He was doing well with Bristol Rovers and they are currently 4th in the league 1 table on 34 pts...Many Pirates fans were quite pessimistic at the start of the season, saying that this season would be a full on relegation scrap for them..

Coughlan lives in Sheffield so it's less travelling for him.
30 miles to Mansfield - 184 miles to Bristol
Plus he could have been offered more cash.
Those Mansfield money bags seem to do that.
