I much prefer that we now play our games on a Saturday.

The tradition of Friday night footie worked in the pre-digital age. I am not convinced the same applies now.

It is odd how all those year's ago the FA we're really against us playing on a Friday night because off the Saturday afternoon Football pools.

Ok they allowed us to play these games but there was always that pressure to stop them and in time they faded but suddenly Sky TV arrived with lot's of money.

Then top club's with Sky the FA and Football League suddenly agreed matches can be played any time you want as long as the money there and even better idea let's carve up the League's and start a top league we're they could keep all of the 💰 money (well 95%)of it.

Sad thing I really liked PP on a Friday night but even this won't be the same most likely because there will be most likely a game on TV that may cut our gate.

I used to like the Friday night games mainly because I played (rugby) myself on a Saturday. Many in the same position from Merseyside did the same.

My wife loves Friday games. For me Saturday 3.00 pm. That said an occasional Friday game is OK.

Friday nights are legendary at PP. They are a huge part of the club's heritage. However, they should now be kept to 2 or 3 games a year.
