Completely agree. They are winding up the fans. Going on for a while now. Even during wenger days, nobody talked about the cash reserves being an insurance in case we don't get champions league money or get knocked out in the group stages.

We were servicing two loans 1) highbury redevelopment 135mn is so payable by 5/6 years i think 2) 30mn per long term loan for building emirates payable over 25 years of something.
Effectively we had to cough up 55mn per season. TV money wasn't as big then.

Of course journos used to wind arsenal fans up all the time and they still do.

Fans will be baying for blood of course.

The only way we could have become big was if the owners invested their own money while FFP was not a thing.

Now of course its too late. We have to rely on commercial deals, shrewd transfers and a great scouting network.

Unless of course kronke decides that Walmart needs to be on our jersey and pays double of what Rwanda is paying us smiling smiley
