Incredibly close match, but it's a firm pitch and we have pace 24-28 to the Pirates.

This will be a tough game against a well drilled side coached by ex-pirates and jersey coach Harvey Biljon.
The pirates will need to show their excellent home form to get their first win on the road.

A favourite comment from myself is DISCIPLINE and keeping on the correct side of Sir. Agree this will be a tough match and hopefully we can come away with a win.

A very partisan crowd, but excellent hosts in the clubhouse & on the town afterwards

Rotherham 21 Pirates 40
A tremendous performance away from home in difficult conditions gave the Pirates a well deserved 5 points and our first win on the road.
The pirates pack had the edge and laid the foundations for a very solid team performance.
Great result, enjoy the journey home and rest up ahead of the visit of Richmond.

Congratulations lads. A well deserved win. We hadn’t lost at home for 2 years but never looked like getting back into that one.
The line out mess up on our own 5m line just before half time was a disaster for us and put two scores between us. From then on our line out was awful but not taking any credit whatsoever from you.
You are a fine team & I wish your team, officials and supporters, a safe journey back home.
Good luck for the rest of the season.
