stark contrast to the Daily Record's exclusive the new Sons manager is
not Sandy McAnespie but ex-St.Mirren and Aberdeen player David Winnie.
Winnie, who has had a short spell in
charge of Icelandic side Reykjavik, was last in charge of Livingston's
Under 14 side. The well travelled 35 year old is joined at The
Rock by ex-Rangers player Jim Denny who will be his assistant.
The new bosses vast experience of
Scottish clubs (well he has played for about half of the SPL) should
be a valuable asset while his experience with Reykjavik should stand
us in good stead for any European campaigns which may come along!!
CSN would like to wish David and Jim
to Dumbarton FC and hope the fans get right behind them as they will
need all the support they can get with the current board in place.
