Leeds Reveal Swanky New Kit

Leeds United's kit for the 2015/16 season was revealed this week and we at the Football Network think it's pretty swanky. United have teamed up with Italian sport giants Kappa for the new design that is sure to please the fans.

The new kit goes back to basics with a clean whte dominating the kit with blue trimmings on the sleeves and collar giving at a rather Italian suave feel. Blue trimming can also be found on the socks while the shorts are pure white.

Kappa took over the kit deal this season after a contractual dispute with Macron, who were supposed to design this season's kit. It is believed Cellino preferred Kappa, who designed the kits when he controlled Italian side Cagliara. 

The most notable absence from the retro-feel kit was the shirt sponsor due to the ongoing dispute between the club and Enterprise Insurance. Enterprise's deal s supposed to run until 2016 but the Leeds board seem keen to switch, with former owners GFH seeming a likely candidate to dominate the centre of the shirt.

All this could lead to fan trouble if the sponsor is revealed mid-season after shirts have been purcharsed.

The kit was modelled by Alex Mowatt, Charlie Taylor, Lewis Cook and Sam Byram - four academy products and first team regulars - alongside new manager Uwe Rosler.

The new shirt is available in the club shop now and was worn for the first time against Harrogate Town on Friday. If you are planning on buying one, it might be worth hanging around for the sponsor.
