Linzer Athletik-Sport-Klub stand between Manchester United and a spot in the Europa League quarter-finals, after the Austrian and English clubs were paired in the last 16 of the continent's second competition.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men have been handed what is widely considered a favourable draw, as they prepare to face LASK for the first time in their history.

The team have bounced between Austria's first and second tiers a number of times - including as recently as 2017. However, this season they find themselves leading the pack at the top of the Austrian Bundesliga, and finished an impressive runners-up last time out.

Die Schwarz-Weißen have not won any major honours since 1965, however; while their current Europa League run is by far their most impressive continental adventure to date.

They have claimed victories against Sporting Lisbon, PSV Eindhoven, Rosenborg and AZ in this year's competition, so are unlikely to be daunted by the prospect of facing the competition's 2017 winners United.

United are one of three British clubs left in the competition, with the full draw as follows:

İstanbul Başakşehi v. Copenhagen
Olympiacos v. Wolverhampton Wanderers
Glasgow Rangers v. Bayer Leverkusen
VfL Wolfsburg v. Shakhtar Donetsk
Inter Milan v. Getafe
Sevilla v. Roma
Eintracht Frankfurt v. Basel
LASK v. Manchester United
