Sevilla manager Julen Lopetegui has labelled Manchester United the "biggest club" in world football ahead of Sunday evening's Europa League semi-final clash.

Lopetegui's side face United in the last four of the competition following a deserved 1-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers this week.

"We are going to play against Manchester United in the next match - they're the biggest team in the world but we're going to be prepared for them," he said, following the single-goal victory.

Lopetegui, however, says his side will believe they can secure safe passage to the final, with the winners due to face either Inter Milan or Shakhtar Donetsk for the trophy.

He added: "We're focused on the next game, against a top, historic side, one of the best in the history of the sport who are in great form. We will give our best as we always do. To play against them will be really tough, but we'll go into it believing we can beat them."

Sevilla - like United - have already qualified for next season's Champions League. They finished fourth in their domestic league, but were dumped out of the Copa del Rey in the round of 16 by Segunda Division club Mirandes.
