  • How YOU can have your say on the Boro

Are you a Middlesbrough supporter? Well here’s YOUR chance to have your voice heard, make a difference and have a share in the advertising revenue of this site. We are looking for a fan or group of fans to publish an unofficial Boro site on SportNetwork, our fast-growing community of fans of clubs all over the country.

  • Boro come up short at the Emirates.

Arsenal eased to a comfortable victory against Middlesbrough on a sunny afternoon at the Emirates courtesy of two goals from captain Cesc Fabregas. Perhaps the most controversial moment of the match from a Boro point of view was the denial of a penalty from referee Chris Foy when it looked as though Nicklas Bendtner stretched his arm to block the ball from a Stewart Downing corner kick.

  • Any light at the end of the tunnel?

Following an assured 3-1 victory against Hull City and with Boro finally reaching the 30 point mark, the question on every Boro fans mind is do we have enough to escape the relegation zone with time slipping away ever faster? If that's possible is perhaps still a tad unlikely, Looking back a week ago to the Bolton match we all thought we were dead and buried, so this victory at least gives hope.

  • Boro look likely to drop.

Boro have been cut 4 points adrift from survival after an uninspiring 1-0 defeat against Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium. A late goal from Shawcross was enough to seperate the two sides on the day, and saw Stoke leaping out of the table while Boro remain fixed further into 19th position in the league.

  • Cup Devastation for the Boro

Boro's FA cup ambitions came to a disappointing end today after a scrappy 2-1 defeat to Everton in the 6th round at Goodison Park. Defeat in the cup leaves the Boro to solely focus on the remaining ten games in the Premier League that are left to avoid the drop.

  • Success For Boro in the Cup

The Boro put in the first convincing performance for a fair bit of time tonight in a convincing 2-0 Home win in the FA Cup 5th round replay against West Ham tonight. Stewart Downing's 5th minute free kick was a superbly timed strike, and was followed in the 20th minute by a well-hit low drive from Tuncay Sanli. Boro will now face Everton at Goodison Park in the quarter finals.

  • No Goals at the Riverside

Troubling times on Teesside continue following todays 0-0 draw in a must win game at the Riverside against Wigan Athletic. Boro's winless streak now amounts to no win in fourteen games, and todays game showed little signs of rectifying this watched by an ever dwindling Middlesbrough crowd of 24,000 fans.

  • Promising Signs from the Cup.

Boro's 1-1 draw against West Ham in the 5th round of the FA cup provided some promising moments that we can hopefully take into the league with Stewart Downing getting his first goal of the season.

  • Keeeping the Faith

With Boro's winless streak extending to a grand total of 13 games, it seems that the board has come to the decision to keep faith in the current regime. Little has been heard from Gibson or Lamb about the current state of affairs at the club which has seen us sink deep into the relegation battle, and it would appear that the board believe the current set up are what is best for the club.

  • Boro Woes Continue

There is still little to shout about at the Riverside following a 0-0 draw today at the Riverside. Boro have now sunk to 19th after to failing to despatch of Blackburn in a must win game. Besides a stellar performance from Brad Jones there was little else to note that provides any inspiration of a Boro revival at this stage of the season.
