Dumbarton captain Davie Stewart is in a serious but stable condition in Glasgow's Southern General Hospital. Stewart who was due to play in yesterday's 4-0 defeat at Peterhead was injured in a collision with a transit van.

| Dumbarton captain Davie Stewart is in a serious but stable condition in Glasgow's Southern General Hospital. Stewart who was due to play in yesterday's 4-0 defeat at Peterhead was injured in a collision with a transit van. It is believed the driver of the
transit van was on the wrong side of the road and was being chased by police at the time.
Stewart was transferred to the Southern General with a fractured skull but was conscious.
Let's hope Davie makes a full recovery.
