Moxey Plays Down Robson Talks

Increasing press speculation has been linking Wolves` with ex Boro` chief Brian Robson as a replacement for John Ward as Assistant Manager.

Reports in the papers claim that Brian Robson is to become the new Wolves` number two however Chief Exec Jez Moxey has played down talks.

Moxey told the clubs official Website "The story is pure fantasty. There is no truth in it whatsoever. I have no idea where such stories could come from"

If however, the deal should go ahead, Robson would be the third person to sign who has a great previous record with Manchester United.

Meanwhile boss` Dave Jones has told the fans that the players wll get better. Jones told Teamtalk ""There was a lot of nerves in the dressing room before the game. Now they are out of the way we can concentrate on playing," said Jones. "I changed the system a bit - I have been tinkering with things. My midfield men are now getting more of a free role.
"We are working very hard and you will see us get better and better as the season goes on. The point we got was decent.
"But with the chances we created, it was a game we should have won and we have missed out on two more points," added the boss.
Jones opted - as expected - to leave new signing Paul Ince out of his plans at Valley Parade.
"Paul didn't play because he hasn't played a competitive match since 18 May.
"So, although he is physically fit, he still needs to do more work with the ball before he can be considered for a place in the team,"

A good performance is what is needed on Wednesday.
