Jones Given Vote Of Confidence By Board.

Dave Jones today received the Vote Of Confidence from the board which every Manager dreads. In nearly all cases a "Vote Of Confidence" is issued to the Manager and the Manager is then sacked within days.

Dave Jones now knows he has the fans on his back. Wolves are low in confidence and are playing awful, and all this comes after Dave Jones spent £15 Million on players to get us out of this Division.

It is however difficult to work out who is to blame for the mess we find ourselves in. Jones spent £15 Million on players, Players who are good enough to get us out of this Division. Wolves collapsed in awesome fashion last season after being 11 points clear with only a few games to go, a statistic which only proves the players are good enough for the job.

A lot of press attention however has been aimed at the players. With rumours such as Dean Sturridge and Paul Ince laughing when Tonge smashed Sheffields third goal in may turn the fans onto the players. Do they really want it so much? and is it the players that are, in a sense, trying to get the manager sacked?

Whatever conclusion you come to, nobody will get away from the fact that Jones has spent £15 Million, whether the players have any care at all is not the point, Jones is the Manager and it will be Jones who gets the sack.

One lifeline Jones may use to keep him in a job is the fact that key players such as Mark Kennedy, Keith Andrews and Colin Cameron are all back in training, and should be fit for the game against Stoke.

Jez Moxey told the E&S "It's important to get back to winning ways and we haven't got to be looking too far ahead,"

"What we have to address is the issues we are facing rather than look at the league table and seeing how many points behind we are.

"We have to cut out the errors and start rebuilding confidence and everyone here is trying to do that."
