So, its off to Kent, Wolves have hit form, Gills have hit form, its another Tuesday night game at the Priestfield, whats the betting on a spot of rain?..Without the rain and the cold, it just wouldnt be the same.
Both Wolves and Giillingham go into this game on the back of two straight wins - Wolves disposing easily of the Mariners at the weekend whilst the Gills disposed of Ipswich Town. Wolves are currently sitting 2 points behind the Gills in the league - a league in which Dave Jones promises we will climb, and promises the side who will be aiming to climb the league will improve in the football we play.
It was Gillingham who knocked Wolves out the FA cup on a miserable day at Molineux last term, but Wolves came out of this same fixture last season, with all Three points. Blake, Miller and Kennedy got the goals to earn the Wolves a 3-2 Victory, and duo Blake and Miller will hope to add to their goal tally`s in this game.
Wolves don`t have a problem with Scoring goals this term, the Gold and Black Army have smashed in 27 goals in the league this season however the leaky defense has let in 17, leaving Wolves with a comfortable +10 goal Difference.
Mark Kennedy or Keith Andrews won`t be able to return to the team, following months on the sideline whilst youngster Mark Clyde who had 2 stitches in a head wound at the weekend is hoping to play in his 3rd ever Wolves game alongside Joleon Lescott. Paul Ince is expected to continue in the captains role and England U21 Keeper Mathew Murray is set to remain between the sticks.
With Wolves form this season, predicitng a score for this game is impossible, lets just hope our awful run has come to an end and the Ince, Irwin and Co have turned the corner.
