Wolves striker Dean Sturridge has admited to playing with a slight knee injury.

Dean Sturridge played at Coventry with a slight knee injury but got throught the game ok , he complained of feeling uncomfortable on friday but got throught Wolves 2-0 win at Highfield Road with no reaction.
With Blake , Ndah both out injured and Proudlock still on loan and this news about Deano , DJ will be looking for a loan striker for the weekends game at home to Forest.

Rumours going around are that Mikael Forsell is the loan striker we are looking at.

Deano speaking to WOW said "I knocked my knee in training on Friday and I think it might have irritated a cyst which I’d felt behind the knee last season.

"It flared up and I was really worried about the game on Saturday but I woke up that morning and it didn’t feel too bad. So I told the gaffer that I’d be OK to play.
"The problem is that it’s my right knee which is giving me grief, and I already have a bit of fluid on my left one." Deano also added

Lets hope Deano can get rid of this knee injury and keep fit for the remainder of the season.
