Ferdinand - Wolves Want Their Man

Wolves are set to continue in their attempts to lure Spurs Striker Les Ferdinand to Molineux despite Spurs Manager Hoddle putting a block on the loan deal.

Dave Jones and Wolverhampton Wanderers are going to make another attempt to lure Spurs Striker Les Ferdinand on loan whilst Wolves have serious injury problems to strikers with only one 100% fit Striker currently available for selection.

 Nathan Blake has a serious Ankle Injury, George Ndah has a gashed knee, Adam Proudlock is on loan at Tranmere Rovers, Michael Branch is on loan to Hull, Dean Sturridge has Hamstring and Knee trouble, Cedric Rousell is on loan at Mons leaving only Kenny Miller as the one fit striker.

 Wolves failed in an attempt to bring Ferdinand to Molineux on Friday, but Dave Jones is determined to get his man.

 Jones told BBC "Glenn said no to a one-month loan, But we will keep beavering away and, if he is available, we will look at it."

This comes after Hoddle told BBC "I still want Les to be a part of my squad. It is as simple as that."
