Wolves have serious injury problems when it comes down to Strikers. Blake, Sturridge and co` are all unavailable so Dave Jones has recalled Adam Proudlock.

Dave Jones has recalled youngster Adam Proudlock back from his loan spell at Tranmere Rovers due to the shortage of Strikers currently available at Molineux.

 Proudlock however has left the Manager of Tranmere very impressed, so much that he is adamant that the young striker has a very bright future.

 Top scorer Nathan Blake will be ruled out until the New Year by two dislocated toes, while George Ndah and Dean Sturridge are struggling with a gashed knee and hamstring problem respectively, leaving space for Proudlock to return.

 Mathias the Tranmere Rovers gaffer played Proudlock in the wide-right position in the last of his 6 games but was impressed with his work rate.

 Mathias told "Ic Birmingham" "Adam did a fine job for us,

He's a talented player with a good future in front of him. I think striker is his best position and he deserved a couple of goals for his efforts for us.

He's been unlucky not to have scored for us and I said that to him after his last game.

He worked tirelessly and was a great acquisition for us.

"I've been delighted with the lad's work here and the way he has given his all to the club. I wish him all the best at Wolves and hope he can get into the first team there.

Hopefully, it's not long before we see him knocking the goals in for Dave Jones' side."

 The glowing report from the Tranmere boss has not stopped Dave Jones knocking on Les Ferdinands door and he is doing his best to lure the Ex-England striker to Molineux.
