Football fans across the Country are talking about the game of the Third-Round. Wolves knocked out Champions League contenders Newcastle United out the FA Cup in a game classed by Colin Cameron as "One Of His Best"
Colin Cameron has classed the famous win against Champions League contenders as "One of the best games ever" in an interview in today tabloid the Sun.
Cameron was voted the fans Man Of The Match and he played what was probably his bester performance in a Wolves shirt. Cameron is no stranger to big games but he still rates this game as one of the best ever.
"That was one of the best games I have EVER been involved in." said the Scottish International.
He adds "It rates up there with winning the Scottish Cup with Hearts against Rangers or the Coca-Cola Cup triumph for Raith Rovers against Celtic.
"It was just end to end for 90 minutes - if Wolves are wise they'll bring the video out tomorrow!"
Cameron also admitted that he was still excited after watching the highlights on TV
"I sat and had a few beers and watched the highlights. I was still jumping up at our goal-line clearances when we were hanging on!
"Our second goal when my cross set up Mark Kennedy to score was 12 seconds from our keeper Matt Murray to the back of their net.
"It was playground football at one point, teams just going from end to end in wave after wave.
"They're such an attacking side and we knew their weakness was at the back. But you never expected a game like that. It was unbelievable to be 2-0 up and it should have been three but I always knew they would come back at us."
The game will live in the memories of Wolves Fans for a long time, the only reason being, the players gave it their all.
