Wolves Deny Ince Retirement.

In recent Weeks there has been talk of Paul Ince hanging his boots up at the end of this Season, but this has been something Wolves have been quick to deny, despite an interview Paul Ince made to the Nationwide Website

Wolves have today denied reports that Captain Paul Ince is edging close to retirement.

 Ince will become 36 later this year and it would come as a surprise should the Ex-England captain hang up his boots at the end of the Season but despite the clubs denial of the story, Ince laid his intentions out to the Nationwide Official Website.

 A Wolves Spokesman told Teamtalk "That's the first I've heard of it. We've not heard this and it's certainly news to me."

 The Wolves spokesman however has obviously not taken note to the Interview done with Ince on the Nationwide website where Ince is quoted as saying "I’m really not looking ahead"

 Ince told the Nationwide Website

"If we go up this season my job will be done. I’m sure there would be calls from supporters for me to stay if that were the case, but I’m really not looking ahead.

"I was brought here last summer, like Denis Irwin, on a one-year contract at a time when I was close to hanging my boots up.

"I didn’t have a club and I thought that might be the end. Then Wolves came in and I’m doing all I can to help bring them success.

"I’m taking it step by step and not thinking at all about a new contract. I will cross that bridge if I come to it, but I’m 36 next season and the joints ache that little bit more on a Sunday morning these days."
